GT Cup 2026 Season Guide
The GT Cup Championship’s unique group structure and points system ensure that every competitor — regardless of the car or group entered — has the opportunity to become the overall GT Cup Champion, while also competing for individual group honours. Podium Celebrations: After each race, group winners are recognised on the circuit podium with a bottle of bubbly and Pirelli winners’ caps, celebrating their success in front of fellow competitors and supporters. Additional awards such as Driver of the Day and Team of the Weekend highlight the spirit of fair play and camaraderie that define the GT Cup paddock. Championship Awards Presentation: At the end of the season, the GT Cup community gathers to celebrate at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club in London. This annual evening brings together drivers, teams, partners and officials to recognise the season’s champions and those who have made exceptional contributions both on and off the track. Special Awards: Sprint Challenge Cup and Sporting Challenge Cup – recognising the achievements of Sporting drivers across the season. Sparkies Cup – named in honour of GT Cup founder Marc Haynes, this award celebrates the individual or team that best embodies the true spirit of the championship. The GT Cup Championship is as much about camaraderie and celebration as it is about competition — bringing together drivers, teams, partners and supporters to share in the passion and enjoyment of motorsport.
